Par-Tee on the Green Golf Tournament is the perfect summer event for festive fun and fundraising for a great cause! Join us at Topgolf Fort Worth on Friday, June 21 to tee off with new and existing supporters, advocates, community partners, and our top supporters. Colleen Colton Award

Guardianship Services, Inc. is part of the remarkable legacy of Colleen Colton, our founder and longtime executive director. She led the agency for 27 years, expanding its services to include adults of all ages who are vulnerable to abuse, neglect, or exploitation due to cognitive, developmental and other disabilities. Colleen set the standard for community service. The Colleen Colton Community Service Award is an honor given annually to an individual who has changed the way our community cares for the vulnerable.

2024 Colleen Colton Awardee, Arlene Shorter

This year the Colleen Colton Community Service Award will be presented to Arlene Shorter. She has been a dedicated advocate for GSI since the organization was formed and had the special opportunity to serve alongside Colleen for several years. Arlene is celebrated for her commitment to serving the Tarrant County community and her 20-year tenure with the Tarrant County Probate Court 2 as an Assistant Court Investigator. Like Colleen Colton herself, she is a trailblazer.
