Mission Statement

To provide guardianship and alternative services to legally and functionally incapacitated individuals who have no family member or friend willing, able, or suitable to serve in that capacity.

Linking legally incapacitated adults with
compassionate, caring, knowledgeable volunteers.

Guardianship Services, Incorporated (GSI) is a non-profit organization that serves adults who lack the ability to manage personal or financial affairs.  The Guardianship Program recruits, trains and supports volunteers who serve as volunteer guardians for adults who lack the capacity to make personal and business decisions and have no family members or friends to serve in that capacity.  The  Money Management program utilizes volunteers in the roles of Bill Payers and Representative Payees.

GSI is supported by generous contributions from organizations and individuals. GSI also receives funding from Tarrant County, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, the Area Agency on Aging, United Way of Metropolitan Tarrant County, AARP and the Texas Department of Mental Health/Mental Retardation.

Your donation to GSI makes a difference between poverty and salvation, contentment and despair for our clients.  Please help us provide assistance for the less fortunate and a voice for the voiceless.
