The mission of the Center for Guardianship Certification is to enhance the quality of guardianship services by providing examination and certification of guardains and fiduciaries. They are responsible for certifying National Certifed Guardians and National Master Guardians. 2011 National Guardianship Summit
The October 2011 conference, hosted by the University of Utah's S.J. Quinney College of Law in Salt Lake City, will draw together a mix of attorneys, judges, guardians, aging and disability advocates, adult protective services staff, and others. The summit will focus on the post appointment practice of guardians, specifically the development and implementation of guardian standards of practive and decision making. The conference also will highlight the role of interdisciplinary guardianship committees to advance implementation efforts. This website provides history about the two previous national summits, describes participating organizations, and offers the opportunity to comment on recommendations and papers.
